SPRYT was the only company from Co Monaghan to feature in the Business Post’s Hot 100 Startups.
The supplement celebrates the energy, creativity and resilience driving Ireland’s emerging businesses, who are all supported by Enterprise Ireland.
The local company was also selected for the Startup Showcase at Web Summit which took this week in Lisbon the world’s largest tech conference.
SPRYT is a virtual assistant that can liaise directly with patients on appointments via simple SMS communications to ensure appointment completion and can effectively reallocate appointments in real-time to eliminate no shows and doctor and consultant wastage.
The company was set up by Neill Dunwoody and Daragh Donohoe who are from Monaghan Town in 2022, supported by Local Enterprise Office Monaghan, and pilots of the company’s ASA tool with the NHS have seen a 160% increase in appointment conversion rates.
SPRYT has also been selected in the final 26 of the Constructor Start Accelerator in Bremen, Germany from the 1680 companies that applied across 50 countries.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Neil Dunwoody said recognition of this kind puts the business on the radar for any potential investors or clients which is always welcomed:
