Heimir Hallgrimsson has indicated that he could be happy to wait until after the World Cup play-offs to hold discussions about his future.
The Icelander’s deal ends when Ireland’s interest in the competition finishes and all parties were braced for the possibility of change as Hallgrimsson’s side entered this week with an outside chance of staying alive.
