The early Samsung Black Friday sale includes a new “Price Promise” that will refund the difference if a customer finds a Samsung product cheaper elsewhere. This offer extends across several Samsung devices, including Galaxy phones, Samsung TVs, Galaxy Watches, the Galaxy Ring, Samsung Fridges, and laptops.
The process of claiming the refund appears straightforward, but Samsung has carefully selected the competitor retailers it will match prices with, conspicuously ignoring one of the major smartphone discounters on the web. Read on for more.

Samsung’s Black Friday sale features most of its major product lineup. If a customer finds the identical product being sold at a lower price elsewhere, Samsung will refund the difference, provided a claim is submitted and a claim form is completed within seven days of purchase.
Crucially, Samsung only offers this refund guarantee in select countries and formats. I can see the price promise where I am in the U.K., but make sure to check your local Samsung site find to see if you can claim some money back. The bad news is that the price promise doesn’t exist in the U.S.
Which Samsung Black Friday Competitor Retailers Are Ruled Out?
Samsung has carefully selected which retailers it will match prices with. Here is the full list of qualifying U.K. shops:

Notice anyone missing? Amazon is not included, and I am guessing this is because the retailer routinely undercuts manufacturers with deep, regular discounts. Such as the October Galaxy Z Fold 7 deal that was the cheapest I’d seen the foldable phone, until Samsung’s even bigger price drop last week.
Samsung’s prices currently outstrip Amazon’s for select Galaxy phones. However, make sure you check the retailer’s site before committing to a purchase on Samsung.com, because it is not uncommon to see a flash 48-hour sale at Amazon for high-end tech. Samsung Black Friday Deals: Are Galaxy S25 Ultra Prices Lower Elsewhere?
Now, that is not to say those other approved retailers won’t have better prices than Samsung. For example, Samsung U.K. is currently running a deal that knocks £50 ($65.75) off the Galaxy S25 Ultra if it is bought with PayPal, while also offering a guaranteed £100 ($131.49) for any traded-in phone.
Let’s be generous and say this totals a £150 ($197.24) discount for the 256GB Galaxy S25 Ultra, bringing the price down to £1099 ($1,444.09). Argos beats that price by £100 ($131.49) (making the phone £999 /$1,313.98) for the same model, storage option, and colour. AO.com is even cheaper at £899 ($1,182.41).

Despite Samsung’s Black Friday branding, we have not yet seen the company’s final, most aggressive pricing for the main shopping period. I suspect we will see bigger discounts (and some free hardware bundled in) than AO, Argos, and others on November 28th. These Galaxy S25 Ultra price drops from rival retailers are a good sign of what is to come, though.
How Your Samsung Black Friday Price Match Claim Could Be Rejected
There are several caveats in the way of your price match refund. Here’s a quick summary.
You have to submit your claim within seven days of purchasing the device. The competitor’s lower-priced product must be in stock and available to order at the moment you submit the claim. The rival retailer’s lower price cannot be because of cashback schemes, bundle offers, voucher codes, loyalty programs, a pricing error, or trade-in promotions. The product has to be brand new and cannot be refurbished, reconditioned, or used.Claims are capped at one promotional product per person, per year, or four per household per year. This is to stop scalpers. The product must be identical in terms of make, model, size, or colour.
You will need to prove all of this with a screenshot of the product advert, the proof of purchase, and a screenshot of the competitor retailer’s website. If the cheaper device meets all of these requirements, visit Samsung’s claim site and fill in the form. Samsung states it can take up to 28 days to issue the refund.
Is The Samsung Black Friday Price Promise Worth It?
Yes, but only barely. Even though it is a strictly controlled price match offer instead of a broad, open-ended promise, it is still worth jumping through the hoops to get your refund if you have already bought a Samsung product.
If you haven’t bought anything yet, I would recommend holding on until the true Samsung Black Friday savings kick in, or Amazon’s, and save yourself the effort of working through a laborious price match claim.
