Since their launch last month, Google Pixel 10 devices have been affected by some Android Auto problems, but Google says a new update should fix that.
To recap the situation, it took just a couple of days for early Pixel 10 buyers to report problems with connecting to Android Auto. Those affected would see the display get stuck on a loading screen, and there was no clear way to fix it.
Now, Google says that a fix is available.
Installing Android Auto 15.0 or above will apparently fix the problem. Android Auto 15.0 started rolling out widely this week, with v15.1 now available in beta.

Google says:
Thanks for reporting the issue of the car screen being grey when Pixel 10 phones are connected to Android Auto. We are pleased to report that the team has implemented a fix. Please make sure to update your Android Auto app to the latest version (15.0 or above), which should resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be working for everyone. Pixel 10 users in the replies mention that the problem persists. It could be that there’s a further server-side component at play, but it’s hard to know for certain.
If you’re having trouble with Android Auto on your Pixel 10, let us know in the comments if this update fixes anything.
