Ireland have been drawn to face Czechia in Prague next March in the 2026 FIFA World Cup play-off semi-final.
If they progress, Ireland will play the winners of the semi-final between Denmark and North Macedonia. If Ireland are one of the finalists, they will play for that World Cup place in Dublin.
Meanwhile, Northern Ireland will play Italy in their semi-final and the winners will face either Wales or Bosnia Herzegovina.
Elsewhere, Ukraine will face Sweden with the semi-final winner meeting Poland or Albania. Whereas, Turkey will face Romania with the winners meeting Slovakia or Kosovo.
The play-off semi-final’s all take place on March 26 2026. The final’s take place on March 31st.
