The Women’s Mini Marathon has announced a new partnership with Leapmotor Ireland, as the Official Motor Sponsor of the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon.
Leapmotor is one of the leading and fastest-growing electric vehicle brands globally, and the partnership coincides with Leapmotor’s recent launch into the Irish market.
The partnership brings together the iconic Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon that celebrates women’s strength and empowerment, and a brand that aims to lead the charge towards a more sustainable, electric future.
The collaboration emphasises the event’s commitment to innovation, healthy living, and environmentally conscious practices.
David O’Leary, Race Director at the Women’s Mini Marathon, said “Our participants are driven, conscious, and passionate; they care about performance, style and making choices that reflect their core values.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Leapmotor, a brand that mirrors those same principles, and eagerly anticipate the enhancements Leapmotor’s presence will have on the event day experience.”
With over a third more electric vehicles licenced year-to-date in Ireland this year compared with 2024, and more than half of Irish drivers considering an EV or hybrid for their next car, the partnership offers a unique backdrop to showcase Leapmotor’s energy, values and technology in an authentic, high-visibility way.
Mark Brennan, Marketing Manager of Leapmotor Ireland, commented, “We are incredibly proud to partner with the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon – an event that perfectly embodies the spirit of our ‘Take the Leap’ ethos. Like the thousands of women who take part each year, Leapmotor is about energy, progress and taking bold steps forward.
“We’re delighted to come on board to support such a staple of the Irish calendar and look forward to inspiring participants on their journeys toward a more sustainable future.”
