Next week on Hollyoaks, recent events take their toll on Ste as he continues to spiral and relapses. Can his loved ones save him and bring him back from the brink? Meanwhile, Lucas makes a discovery as he tries to save his relationship with Dillon, and Theresa returns to the village.

Monday 1 December – Episode 6650 1. Ste and Mercedes spark concern

Struggling Ste and Mercedes stumble out of Casa McQueen, while scheming Gemma watches on with a smug look on her face. Back at Ste’s flat, Mercedes is keen to keep the party going – but Ste then remembers that he’s got a social services meeting coming up.
John Paul is concerned about Mercedes when she doesn’t return home overnight. He and Goldie find out that Sienna saw Mercedes and Ste high, and the pair manage to track them down.
2. Dillon and Lucas are set up

Dillon and Lucas arrive at The Dog, having each been summoned there by a text from Frankie. Unsurprisingly, Dillon isn’t pleased to be in the same room as his ex.
After downloading a cloning app, Lucas goes through Dillon’s messages and suggests that Frankie orchestrated this meeting to help get them back together. Is he right, and will the plan work?

3. Mercedes feels guilty

Mercedes is finally marked safe when Goldie and John Paul find her. But when Tony’s name is mentioned, she is sent spiralling once again and runs off. She is being crushed by the guilt of shooting Tony, so heads to see him as his recovery continues.
At the hospital, Diane spots Mercedes looking worse for wear and encourages her to freshen up.
4. Donny gets a shock

Donny is concerned about what Dodger might do next, having recently admitted to him that he killed Griff on the fateful night in Liverpool. He panics when he sees Dodger heading into the superintendent’s office – is Donny’s secret about to be exposed?
5. Ste gets help

Lucas continues trying to connect with Dillon, but he is pushed away by his ex. But the pair are horrified when they run into Ste and John Paul in the village – and realise that Ste has relapsed.
Knowing that an important social services meeting is scheduled for the next day, John Paul and Dillon team up and vow to do whatever they can to get Ste sober and ready in time.
Tuesday 2 December – Episode 66516. Lucas makes a discovery

Despite John Paul and Dillon’s attempts to sober him out, Ste is firmly in self-sabotage mode and believes that he doesn’t deserve to get baby James back ahead of the meeting.
Meanwhile, Lucas confides in Frankie and makes it clear won’t give up on his relationship with Dillon. But he then spots a text that Ste sent to Dillon and immediately jumps to conclusions. Has Lucas discovered their surprise passion?
7. Tony gets news

Tony has made significant progress since he suffered a stroke, and he is told that he can soon be discharged from the hospital as a care plan is ready to be put in place. It seems like things are looking up for Tony, so why is he feeling concerned?
8. Liberty steps up

It’s been a chaotic time for the Blakes and Savages, with Dodger occupied with work and Sienna focusing caring for Cleo following her diagnosis of postpartum psychosis. Liberty decides to take charge and tries to pull the family back together, but will she succeed?
9. Gemma moves in
Lime Pictures
As Gemma makes the village her permanent home and moves in with the Maaliks, she settles into her new address. There are some big changes for the family in the air, but Misbah makes sure to remind Donny that he should keep his work stress out of the home.
Wednesday 3 December – Episode 665210. Lucas refuses to give up

Lucas makes an excuse to arrange a meet-up with Dillon. But Dillon is occupied, as he intervenes when he finds Ste heading to Price Slice to buy some more alcohol.
Unaware of this, Lucas is convinced that he can get things back on track between him and Dillon, so he manipulates a situation to his advantage. His attempts to get Dillon’s attention them reaches a concerning new height – what is Lucas’ next move?
11. Theresa is back

Goldie is shocked when she comes face-to-face with Theresa, who fills her in on where she has been. Theresa explains that she was conned out of her diamonds so is now laying low and trying to avoid Warren – but admits that she missed home.
Thankfully, Goldie tells Theresa that she will always have the support of her family. Later, Theresa heads to see Dodger to thank him for helping her last month. How will this reunion unfold?
12. Dodger confronts Donny

As tensions continue to rise at work, Dodger confronts Donny, questioning the man he has become. Donny’s guilt mounts – will he find the courage to tell anyone what happened to him?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
