A new platform for family and friends of domestic abuse survivors is being hailed as ‘lifesaving’ and ‘monumental’.
Women’s Aid launched the online programme this afternoon, with President Catherine Connolly in attendance.
It aims to help people understand how to support someone who they know is being subjected to domestic abuse and coercive control.
The initiative comes against the backdrop of rising cases of domestic abuse, with more than 65 thousand calls made to Gardai last year.
