Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, and ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson are feeling the aftermath of their royal fallout.
The ex Duke and Duchess of York reportedly have people in their inner circle worried about them after King Charles III stripped the pair of their royal titles and honors as they face backlash due to their connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
Royal author Robert Jobson, who has penned several books on the royal family, told The Sun (as reported by The Mirror on Sunday, November 23), “I believe even members of the royal family who have taken action are concerned about both their mental health.”
When asked how Andrew, 65, and Fergie, 66, are coping, Jobson said, “Not very well, I don’t think.”
The two continue to make headlines as allegations mount against Andrew, who was accused of having sex with late sex-trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre when she was a minor. (He has repeatedly denied those allegations and maintains his innocence.)

As for Ferguson, an email recently emerged in which the children’s book author called Epstein a “supreme friend” in 2011.
She addressed the email in a statement via a spokesperson, who said in part: “The Duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as they have always been her first thoughts are with his victims. Like many people, she was taken in by his lies. As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia.”
Still, Jobson reportedly told The Sun, “You have to be concerned about the victims of the Epstein scandal, and that to me is the biggest worry. They’re human beings. A lot has been taken away.”
Andrew and Fergie have also been asked to vacate Royal Lodge, where they lived nearly rent-free for years.
