A new clip from the Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal-starring Hamnet has been released ahead of the Oscar-tipped film’s arrival in cinemas in the New Year.
Directed by the Oscar-winning Chloé Zhao (Nomadland, The Rider), Hamnet “tells the powerful love story that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece, Hamlet”.
Hamnet is based on the bestseller of the same name by author Maggie O’Farrell
Mescal plays William Shakespeare, and Buckley plays Agnes, his wife.
