Q I run a small shop in Limerick city, and honestly, I’m feeling completely drained. I see more and more shops closing every week, costs rising, staff hard to find, and council projects that don’t always feel connected to what small businesses really need.
Do you have any views on the future of bricks-and-mortar retail, Vicki? I’m not sure how a small shop like mine can survive, let alone thrive, in the current environment and I’m definitely not sure anyone is really listening to people like me. Being from Limerick yourself, I was wondering what your take is on it all?
