Commuters are facing significant delays on the M50 this evening following a number of collisions along the motorway.
There has been a collision on the M50 northbound at Junction 5 Finglas, blocking the right and middle lanes, and the hard shoulder, with commuters being advised of heavy delays on approach.
Recovery services are arriving at the scene of the collision, and the right lane of the M50 southbound opposite the incident is also blocked.

A separate collision on the M50 southbound at Junction 9 Red Cow has since been cleared, however some delays may still apply.
Congestion has been reported on the M50 Southbound from Junction 3 to Junction 7, and on the M50 northbound between junction 12 and junction 7.
There are delays on a number of routes around Dublin, including the M1 northbound, the M4 eastbound, the N7 eastbound and the M11 southbound.
