Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy has officially tied the knot with long-term girlfriend Clare Kambamettu this afternoon in what was a stunning winter wedding.

The newlyweds were pronounced husband and wife in the lush surroundings of Abbeyglen Castle on Sunday, December 7, in front of a select gathering of family and close friends.

EVOKE’s exclusive pictures show the besotted pair just moments after they said they said their wedding vows and exchanged wedding bands.

Ryan and Clare’s wedding day comes just two years after they met while she was a guest on his RTE radio show.

And it seems their encounter was serendipitous as EVOKE’s exclusive pictures show them to be the picture-perfect pair.

The couple announced their engagement in June 2025 after Ryan proposed during a trip to the West of Ireland. Now, just six months on from Ryan’s romantic proposal, the couple have enjoyed their wedding days of dreams.

The intimate ceremony took place this afternoon at Tubridy’s cousin’s hotel, The Abbeyglen in Galway.

The pair were officially pronounced husband and wife in front of a select gathering of family and close friends.

Dapper groom Ryan, 52, looked every inch the happiest man as he said his vows.

And Clare, 41, was a radiant bride in a stunning traditional white gown, which she previously revealed she bought in a sustainable boutique in Kildare.

Back in August Clare detailed that she has purchased her off-the-shoulder wedding gown from Cirq, a sustainable bridal boutique in Naas County Kildare.

Speaking of her impending nuptials she said: ‘The [wedding] plans have all been surprisingly easy so everything is coming together. I got my dress a couple of weeks ago from a bridal boutique in Naas called Cirq.’

Clare expanded on her choice to purchase her dress from the eco-friendly boutique, saying: ‘Jennifer, who owns Cirq, sources all her dresses from brides looking to sell or from charities. She’s wonderful to work with, so I’m thrilled to have my dress sorted and just a few details left—it’s all very exciting.’

While the wedding was an intimate affair Clare had her wedding day of dreams with a full troupe of bridesmaids.

Similarly, Ryan had his closest friends as his wingmen who performed groomsmen duties to perfection.

Clare’s parents were in attendance, watching with pride as their daughter took her vows.

Ms Kambamettu’s mother Breda, who is also a physiotherapist, watched on in the tastefully-adorned room, as her daughter married the nation’s best-known presenter.

The choice of wedding location holds a special place in the hearts of the happy couple and both their extended family.

Clare was born in Leeds to an Indian father, Ravi, a GP, and Irish mother, Breda, who met when they were both working at Merlin Park hospital in Galway.

Clare’s father was initially introduced to her mother as ‘Dr Ravishing’.

Turbidy has long-since expressed a deep affinity with the West of Ireland and has spent a great deal of time in Galway and touring the Wild Atlantic Way.

Shortly after the officialdom was over the wedding party retired to the Abbeyglen restaurant for a wedding feast, speeches and of course some post-marriage celebratory drinks.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
