RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 6 runner-up and Strictly Come Dancing 2025 contestant La Voix will be back on the BBC next week after landing herself a presenting role in a special Christmas episode.

The star will be joining Helen Skelton to co-host a festive instalment of Morning Live next week, on Tuesday, 16 December.

The episode will feature seasonal surprises that “embraces a new kind of Christmas magic”, according to the announcement.

“To be sitting on the Morning Live sofa is nothing short of fabulous,” La Voix said. “If you’re expecting a calm and quiet morning then you clearly haven’t met me!

“I’m thrilled to be joining Helen — and Britain — bright and early. Get ready for festive fun, and no doubt a little mayhem!”

Helen Skelton added: “I can’t wait to welcome La Voix to Morning Live.

“She’s full of energy, full of heart, and just the right amount of chaos for the festive season. It’s going to be huge fun, and I know our audience are in for a treat.”

During their time on this year’s Strictly season, La Voix and professional dance partner Aljaž Å korjanec scored in the 30s twice, while the drag star publicly pitched herself multiple times as a replacement for Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman after they announced their departure.

La Voix’s Strictly journey came to a premature end after sustaining an injury, which forced her to drop out of the competition.

Since then she’s released a new single and been announced for a major musical tour.

La Voix and Aljaž were also one of the first couples announced for the 2026 Strictly Live Tour, which will be hitting some major venues around the UK across January and February.

Meanwhile, Amber Davies has responded to the weekend’s shocking results show, urging fans to be kind.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer. Morning Live airs weekdays from 9.30am on BBC One.
