Europe has “full confidence” in Ireland ensuring the security of EU heads of state when they visit as part of the presidency of the European Council next year, despite suspected Russian drone activity in Irish skies last week.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that unidentified drones were spotted near the flight path of his plane during his trip to Dublin last week.
