A man in his 20s has been arrested in relation to a fatal road crash in Louth, in which a motorcyclist was killed last August.
The two vehicle collision between a van and a motorcycle happened on James Street in Drogheda at round 7.10am on 29 August.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, sustained critical injuries and was later pronounced dead at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The man in his 20s is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at a Garda Station in the north western region.
