The original 2019 Knives Out offering brought us to an old-money mansion in Massachusetts; 2022’s Glass Onion catapulted us to a private Grecian island, ‘Pieceshit’. Now, the third instalment is set in the not so flashy confines of a small Catholic church in ‘Chimney Rock’, New York State. Rest assured, what we lack in salubrious settings is more than made up for with the sheer level of star power being proffered on screen. Let’s just say the casting director has outdone themselves. Granted, we have Daniel Craig as regular fixture Benoit Blanc, but this time around, we also have Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Josh O’Connor, Kerry Washington, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, and Thomas Hayden Church. That’s before we get to the Irish involved – only Daryl Bad Sisters McCormack and Andrew ‘Hot Priest’ Scott. As for the plot? I mean, with a cast like this, does it even matter? OK, a priest dies inexplicably and, two and a half hours later, you’ll find out whodunit.

Much like my main highlight above; after a stint in the cinemas, it’s now time for this offering to nestle down on the small screen. Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a rising Formula 1 star, had a crash in the 1990s that ended his career. Decades later, he’s drawn back by former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), whose failing team needs saving. Paired with rookie Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), Sonny faces fierce rivalries, old demons, and the reality that F1 is never a solo race.

Trust me, this is new. Shot during the tour’s finale, it includes the full tortured poets department set added after its 2024 release. As if that wasn’t enough Tay Tay (apologies), you can also be wowed by a six‑part docuseries tracing the making, impact, and inner workings of the Eras Tour, by the name of The End of an Era.
