From the moment Hillsin crossed the line at Worcester on a summer evening two and a half years ago, it was apparent to everyone that something was not right.
Yet what played out between July 5, 2023 and November 24, 2025 showed the events of that day to be much more significant even than might have first been suspected as the investigation morphed into one of the biggest corruption cases British racing had experienced in years.
