Two new hospitals for the mid west as well as more immediate additional beds were promised by Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill today to alleviate overcrowding in University Hospital Limerick.
The minister was responding to the report carried out by the Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa) to address the overcrowding in the hospital and its ongoing trolley crisis.
