A young teenage boy has been named a ‘true hero’ for his huge efforts to raise money for UNICEF’s Gaza Appeal.

Palestine GAA posted a tribute for the young boy to thank him for his dedication in funding over €1,000 euro for the appeal.

Ross travelled to every GAA club in Carlow on 8th November to raise money, leaving his home shortly after 7am on the day, and embarking on a 243km round trip with his dad Ed.

The club said: “Ross is a true hero of the club, being a pivotal figure in our SuperPals Nursery.

“He never misses a Saturday morning! This is a remarkable amount of money to raise at such a young age”.

Many people were left in awe of the young boy and his huge efforts to raise money for Gaza, one person commented, “A legend! Fair play Ross. Top man and what an amazing thing to do. An absolute inspiration”.

Another person said, “What an amazing boy you are Ross. Well done to you and your dad”.
