Atalanta to win
Atalanta are in their best run of form so far this season and Raffaele Palladino’s team will be looking to power on until the end of the year.
Five wins from their last six across all competitions has seen them climb up into mid-table, after a poor start to the campaign, which triggered Ivan Juric’s sacking and Palladino’s arrival.
Hosts Genoa remain inconsistent, as they hover just above the relegation zone, and Daniele De Rossi has won just two of his games in charge since landing at the club last month.
In a battle between two new-ish bosses, Palladino has his team pulling in the right direction, and the visitors will be hopeful of taking all three points back to Bergamo.
Gianluca Scamacca to score
The man leading the charge for Atalanta right now is ex-West Ham flop Gianluca Scamacca.
The Italy international never really settled in the Premier League, with just three top-flight goals, in his sole 2022/23 campaign with the Hammers.
He already has five in Serie A this season, as the top scorer in Palladino’s squad, and four of those have come his last five league outings.
The 26-year-old bagged twice in last weekend’s 2-1 home win over Cagliari and he’ll be looking to haunt his old side Genoa on Sunday eve.

Switching from Italy to Spain and we have Real Betis’ showdown with Getafe.
Veteran campaigner Manuel Pellegrini has enjoyed a superb start to the 2025/26 season despite concerns over how his stretched squad would balance their Europa League duties.
Los Verdiblancos have shot up the La Liga table despite moving to their new temporary home at the Estadio de La Cartuja over the summer.
They have only lost once in their last 12, coming out on the wrong end of a 5-3 thrilling defeat at home to Barcelona at the start of December, and this looks like a home banker.
Getafe will always make life difficult for opponents, but their best work is done at home, and they have lost five of their last six away from Madrid.
Cucho Hernandez to score
Similarly to Atalanta with Scamacca, Betis also have a striker on a hot streak, with Cucho Hernandez up to six La Liga goals this season and eight overall.
Four goals from his last seven starts across all competitions is a solid figure to work from with two coming from the penalty spot.
Betis beat Getafe home and away last season, with Isco and Giovani Lo Celso both scoring twice in each game, but with just one league goal between the pair so far in 2025/26 – Cucho could the go-to against Jose Bordalas’ side this time.
