Marie Keogh (nee Reilly) passed away on Saturday 20th December, 2025 peacefully, in the care of the Palliative Nursing Staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her parents May and Edward Reilly.
Sadly missed by her loving husband J.P., her sons Fergal and Mark, her daughter Aoife, daughters in law Leah and Helena. Her beloved grandchildren; Senan, Éadaoin, Sadie, Michael and Hallie, brothers; Jim, Pat, Liam and Eamon, sister Brenda (Haywood), sisters in law, brother in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Bethany House, Granard (at the rear of St. Mary’s Church, N39XT51) on Monday evening, 22nd December from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. concluding with prayers in St. Mary’s Church, Granard
Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 23rd December at 11 a.m. (link below) followed by burial in Granardkill New Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Longford Palliative Care team or to the undertaker or family member.
House to remain private please.
Marie’s family wish to thank those who were so kind to her during her long illness, particularly the staff in Castlepollard Medical Practice, Ciara and all the staff of McEvoy’s Medical Hall, Granard, the Nursing Staff of Medical 1, Palliative and Respiratory Team in the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar and the Public Health and Palliative Community Nursing Team and carers.
