All Creatures Great and Small fans can head into the holiday season excited for more of the heartwarming Yorkshire country story. Back in November, it was confirmed the show will be getting two more series – and two more Christmas specials.

But first, providing the perfect festive book-end to series 6, is the 2025 Christmas special, with its trailer promising a romantic theme for two of its characters and making it the perfect festive viewing.

5’s commissioning editor Greg Barnett praised the series – which follows vets in the Yorkshire Dales in the early-to-mid 20th century – as “a jewel in 5’s drama crown” that “continues to delight viewers year after year”.

But when can you tune in to find out if romance will spark between Siegfried and Mrs Hall? Read on to find out.
