31st Annual Critics Choice Awards - Press Room

There’s strong evidence Trump watches Kimmel live.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! won Best Talk Show at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, and Kimmel knew it was thanks to his biggest fan. “I want to thank our president, Donald Jennifer Trump, without whom, we would be going home empty-handed tonight,” Kimmel said at the awards show, held in Santa Monica Sunday night. “So thank you, Mr. President, for all the many ridiculous things you do each and every day. It’s been a banner couple of weeks, and we can’t get wait to get back on the air tomorrow night to talk about them. Thank you, everyone.”

But not everyone who won an award Sunday night had personal beef with the president. Some did (South Park won Best Animated Series), but not everybody. Timothée Chalamet thanked his “partner of three years,” Kylie Jenner while winning Best Actor for his role in Marty Supreme. “Thank you for our foundation.” Other big winners of the night included Frankenstein (4 wins), Sinners (4), and One Battle After Another (3). In television, The Pitt and Adolescence cleaned up, lining up nicely with the Emmys last year. Read on for the full list of winners.
