Busiest year on record at Ireland West Airport

Ireland West Airport recorded its busiest year ever in 2025, with passenger numbers reaching over 946 thousand passengers.

This is a 13.5 per cent increase on 2024.

The airport now serves 21 international destinations with over 96 thousand passengers travelling on the London Heathrow service alone.

August was the busiest month in the airport’s history, with over 106 thousand passengers.
