Hundreds of mourners gathered at St Mary’s Church in Rathkeale this morning for the funeral mass of Patrick (Pa) O’Dwyer, the internationally-renowned strongman who died suddenly on January 3, 2026, at just 40 years of age.
Family, friends, members of the strongman community and locals filled the church to remember the man known worldwide as the “Limerick Lion.”
