Ballymac are national champions.

A superb second half display saw them defeat Clogher Eire Og, Tyrone in the final of the All Ireland Junior Club Football Championship.

In Croke Park Ballymac won by 1-16 to 0-13.

A superb Darragh Broderick score from outside the arc had Ballymac in front by 2 after 3 minutes. Within a minute Jack Joy thought he had registered a second two pointer for Ballymac to double that advantage. However, that was disallowed due to a breach and Clogher were brought up the other end. They pointed to halve the advantage. Ballymac had the next 3 points to go 4 clear after 12 minutes. However, back to back 2 pointers had Clogher level by the quarter hour mark at 5 all. Clogher were taking, and had the next 2 points to open up a 7-5 lead, with 20 minutes gone. Ballymac trailed 8-7 entering the closing 3 minutes of the period. Clogher doubled their advantage, Aidan Breen then halving that deficit. In added on time another Ballymac breach gifted Clogher a point. Ballymac were behind by 10 points to 8 at half time.

Ballymac were level with 3 minutes of the second half gone; 10 points all. Jack Joy then put Ballymac in front by 1. Daire Keane quickly doubled that lead; 12 points to 10 after 36 minutes. Ballymac opened up a 4 point advantage-15 to 11-by the 46 minutes mark.
