They were dominant in the final at Croke Park against Glenullin, Derry.

Ruaidhri O’Beaglaoich had the first point of the decider, for the Kerry champions. Sean O’Cuinn double the advantage after 6 minutes, then Glenullin opened their account. An Ghaeltacht extended their lead thanks to points from Conor O’Corrduibh and Ruaidhri O’Beaglaoich. That made it 4-1 at the quarter hour mark. Ruaidhri O’Beaglaoich’s two pointer from a free had them 5 clear. Eanna O’Conchuir made it a 6 point advantage; 7-1 after 24 minutes. Back to back Ruaidhri O’Beaglaoich points meant An Ghaeltacht led at the break 0-9 to 0-1.
The first score of the second half did not arrive until 19 minutes into the period as An Ghaeltacht increased their lead to 10 points to 1. Glenullin collected their second score of the final with a 51st minute point. Cathal O’Beaglaoich’s 2 pointer with 5 minutes to go meant the Kerry side were ahead by 12 points to 4.
