The location of Saturday night’s massive five-figure Lotto win has been revealed by The National Lottery.

One lucky Lotto player in Laois is celebrating after they scooped €49,071 in the main draw on January 10, matching five numbers and the bonus to bag the huge prize.

It has now been revealed that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw from Tuthills, Unit 16, Laois Shopping Centre, in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. The winning numbers in last night’s Lotto draw were: 5, 10, 24, 30, 36, 40 and the Bonus was 42.

While there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €5,637,126, in total over 89,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including the Laois player who matched five numbers and the bonus.

Lotto bosses are now calling on players in Laois to check their tickets to see if they have bagged the huge sum.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, shared, “What a fantastic night for one player in Laois who scored themselves a brilliant €49,071. If you purchased a ticket for Saturday night’s Lotto draw in Tuthills, in Laois Shopping Centre, now is the time to check your tickets carefully. If you’re holding that winning ticket, sign the back of it, keep it safe and contact our Prize Claims team!”

The latest Lotto winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. They should make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lottery HQ.
