The official opening of the Drogheda Digital Hub has been hailed as a significant step forward for innovation, enterprise and remote working in the town.
The new hub, located in Drogheda town centre, is designed to support entrepreneurs, start-ups, remote workers and small businesses by providing modern workspace, digital infrastructure and opportunities for collaboration.
The project forms part of wider efforts to strengthen Drogheda’s role as a regional centre for enterprise and to ensure local people can live and work in the town while accessing high-quality digital facilities.
Speaking at the opening, representatives said the Digital Hub will help attract new business activity, support existing enterprises and create opportunities for skills development, while contributing to town centre regeneration.
The initiative has been supported through collaboration between Louth County Council, local enterprise partners and stakeholders, with funding aligned to national strategies for digital transformation and regional development.
