HBO Max’s hit medical drama The Pitt is quickly becoming an awards sweetheart in 2026. Following tonight’s win for Best Actor in a Drama Series for Noah Wyle, who leads the series and executive produces, The Pitt received the Best Drama Series at the Golden Globes.
With nearly every accolade the show receives, the real-life healthcare workers saving lives daily are never far from the minds of the cast and executive producers.
“I want to thank the first responders and healthcare workers, who are the real heroes who inspire us,” shared creator, showrunner, and executive producer R. Scott Gemmill, while accepting the group accolade. “Debora Kahn from The Diplomat reminded me I have to thank all the civil servants, as well,” he added.
Wyle also tipped his hat to healthcare workers during his acceptance speech earlier in the evening.
