Local duo Rosie Searle and Sam Monaghan have both been included in a 37 player Ireland Womens squad for a three day National training camp, designed to aid preparations ahead of this years 6 Nations campaign
For Navan player Rosie Searle, it’s another major milestone – she’s started all three rounds of the Celtic Challenge to date for the Clovers, delivering a series of powerful performances that have underlined her rapid rise through the representative ranks.
Her inclusion in the national training squad follows a standout year in 2025, during which she represented the Ireland Under-20s last summer before making her senior Leinster debut in the Women’s Interprovincial Championship in August.Â
For Sam Monaghan, she was Ireland joint captain for last autumn’s World Cup..
The 6 Nations campaign begins on April 11th with an away match against England at Twickenham.
