Jimmy Fallon Nominates ‘Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams To Host ‘SNL’ After ‘Tonight Show’ Audience “Went Bonkers”

As Heated Rivalry‘s global fandom continues to grow, the opportunities are endless for its stars, who just made their late-night debuts.

Following Hudson Williams‘ appearance on the NBC talk show last week, The Tonight Show host, Saturday Night Live alum and unofficial Lorne Michaels advisor, Jimmy Fallon recommended the actor to make his SNL hosting debut next.

“I mean, he’s Canadian, so there’s an advantage there,” he told Entertainment Weekly of Michaels and Williams. “They look out for each other!”

Fallon joked that “Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling are passing the hot Canadian celebrity torch to Hudson Williams,” following the actor’s appearance on the Jan. 7 episode of The Tonight Show, during which the audience “went bonkers.” He compared the passionate fans to the crowds that turned out for Harry Styles and BTS.

“The whole show was great,” said Fallon. “But Hudson was the reason everyone was in such a hype mood.
