The US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would speak to the Chinese leader this Friday. When asked for confirmation, details and expectations of the talks, Lin Jian, a spokesperson of China’s Foreign Ministry said at the regular press conference on Tuesday that head-of-state diplomacy plays an irreplaceable strategic guiding role in China-US relations.
