Zane Phillips and Andrew Matarazzo have joined SXSW jury prize winner and Independent Spirit Award nominee Annapurna Sriram in headlining the arthouse horror short “Still Hungry?” from writer-director Zachary Solomon.

“Still Hungry?” follows “Sydney (Phillips), a toxic alpha-male fitness influencer who finds a new online obsession via a charming and chaotic fellow content creator (Matarazzo),” reads the movie’s official logline. “When the men collide in the real world, Sydney’s life of rigid structure spirals out of control into a ravenous mess of desire and blood.”

The project marks Solomon’s directorial debut after the success of his previous horror film, “Are You Fucking Kidding Me?!,” which he both wrote and starred in. The award-winning film received multiple festival accolades, including official selections at BFI Flare, Palm Springs, Provincetown, OutfestNEXT, NewFest, Queer Screen Mardi Gras and American Cinematheque’s Proof Film Festival.

Bestselling author and three-time SXSW alum Lovell Holder (“The Book of Luke,” “Lavender Men”) will produce alongside Foxtrot Entertainment’s Rose Alsander (“XY”) and Brenden Rodriguez (“Monkey Bread”). Alsander, Rodriguez and Holder most recently teamed up to produce Ross Barron’s upcoming drama “Front Range,” starring Maddie Phillips (“Gen V”).

“I am thrilled to bring this film to life with such an incredible cast,” Solomon said in a statement Wednesday. “Working with Zane, Andrew and Annapurna is a director’s dream. Each of them is a star in their own right.”

Holder said, “Zach is truly the perfect filmmaker to tackle the increasingly surreal space where sexuality and technology intersect in contemporary society. I can’t imagine three more gifted collaborators than Zane, Andrew and Annapurna to help him usher this vivid and searing story into the world.”

Phillips’ credits include “Fire Island,” “Loot” and the upcoming new season of “The Comeback.” Matarazzo appeared on TV’s “Teen Wolf” and most recently co-wrote and starred in the Western short “Roses.”

Sriram wrote, directed and starred in “Fucktoys,” a black comedy that earned the Special Jury Award in Narrative Feature Competition at SXSW in March.

Phillips is repped by BRS-Gage and Prime Talent Media. Matarazzo is repped by Innovative and Luber Roklin. Sriram is repped by Linden Entertainment and Granderson Des Rochers. Solomon is repped by Gravity Hill and Aperture Talent.
