Sunny Deol is back with the second instalment of Border and this time around he is joined by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film is all set to storm the big screen tomorrow on approx. 4800 screens with 17,000 shows nationwide. The advances opened on Sunday and after some initial hiccups due to the showcasing issues, the film is showing strong momentum in pre-sales now.

As on Thursday at 2 PM, Border 2 has sold 75,000 tickets across the national multiplex chains and is on track to hit the 1,40,000 mark by the end of the day. This keeps the film on track for an opening around the Rs. 40 crore mark, as the advances will be almost 60 percent higher than Housefull 5, which opened at Rs. 23 crore in June last year.
Being a mass heavy film, Border 2 is expected to show strong momentum in the non national chains and single screens. The walk-ins will also be high, as Border 2 is a mass film, where people usually don’t buy tickets in advance but turn up to witness the euphoria on the spot.
The pricing is also on the higher side, which will play a role in boosting the collections of the film. If reports come positive, it is sure to lead itself towards the Republic Day holiday with a bang.
