Federal health officials have widened a recall of a dietary supplement linked to a salmonella outbreak, warning that the product was also sold to consumers in U.S. territories and the United Kingdom through online sales.

The Food and Drug Administration said the recall of Live it Up Super Greens was expanded after the agency determined the supplement had reached those additional markets. The product has been tied to illnesses in dozens of people across the United States.

“Consumers and retailers should not eat, sell, or serve” any of the recalled dietary supplement powder, the FDA said. Affected products carry expiration dates ranging from August 2026 through January 2028. The agency advised consumers to discard the product and seek refunds from the manufacturer.

The recall covers Super Greens powder and stick packs in both original and Wild Berry flavors. In addition to disposing of the product, the FDA urged anyone who had the supplement to “carefully clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers that the product touched.”

Health officials reported that approximately 45 people have been sickened in 21 states, with 12 hospitalizations linked to the outbreak so far. Authorities are encouraging anyone who consumed the product to seek medical attention if they experience symptoms consistent with salmonella infection, including fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.
