Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street’s Megan Walsh continues to manipulate Daniel Osbourne, as he started suspecting something after noticing student Will Driscoll’s behaviour towards her.
Megan has been grooming Will but keeps up appearances by entertaining a relationship with Daniel, who started falling for her. In tonight’s (22 January) scenes, Megan turned down Daniel’s proposal to go for a spa weekend as an upset Will was within earshot.
At school, Will insisted Megan dump Daniel, to which she replied: “I promise, as soon as I have a chance, I’ll ask him for some space.”
Daniel spotted Will and Megan involved in a whispery conversation and called his girlfriend over to “rescue” her.

“Way too intense, him,” he said of Will.
Out for lunch, Megan intended to let Daniel down gently, but was taken aback when he confessed he had feelings for her.
“It’s complicated,” Megan replied when he asked her how she felt, swiftly changing the subject about being under pressure at school.

Daniel then suggested that Will could be part of the reasons why Megan was stressed, suggesting the teen’s behaviour towards her should be flagged to the headteacher Crawshaw.
“No, he’s fine,” Megan reacted angrily. “Let’s not make things worse, shall we?”
Knowing that she had to salvage the situation before Daniel could realise she’d been lying, a cunning Megan returned onto her own feelings for the teacher.

“You’ve caught me off guard,” she said.
“I’m shyer than you are about saying how I feel,” she continued, adding that she felt “the same” way as Daniel.
