In 2017, during one of their group interviews with Entertainment Tonight, the group had been asked about their love lives. While talking about their album ‘Love Yourself’, RM had talked about what true love means to them. He had stated, “We always, like when we (BTS) don’t have like a BOYFRIEND or GIRLFRIEND, we always say like ‘ah I’m so lonely, I wanna date’. Something like that…But the biggest love we are searching for is the love for one’s self. If you wanna love others, you should love yourself first.”
