The Russian ambassador to Ireland said “nobody will be safer” if the United States increases military bases in Greenland and it risks “destabilising” the world order.

Speaking to the Sunday Independent, Ambassador Yury Filatov said Russia will make note of US President Donald Trump’s plans to increase military presence in Greenland in response to perceived threats by the US from Russia and China.
