Everton have looked short of numbers this season, the latest setback being the stress fracture of his foot suffered by Jack Grealish.
Good news is in the horizon, though, with the sight of Jarrad Branthwaite and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on the bench.
England defender Branthwaite has not figured this season after surgery on a hamstring problem, while Dewsbury-Hall – outstanding in the early part of the season – is on the way back after suffering a similar injury against former club Chelsea in December.
