Justin Bieber is to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards.
The singer has joined the line up, having been nominated for four awards at the ceremony himself, including a nod for Album Of The Year for Swag. This also marks his third Grammy nomination in his career.
Bieber has also been nominated for Best R&B Performance for Yukon, Best Pop Solo Performance for Daises, and Best Pop Vocal Album for Swag.
Overall, Bieber has been nominated for 27 Grammy Awards in his career. However, he has only came out on top twice, winning best dance recording for his 2016 hit, Where Are U Now with Skrillex and Diplo, as well as best country duo/group performances in 2021 for 10,000 Hours, featuring Dan + Shay.
It was announced earlier this week that Justin Bieber would co lead the 2026 Juno Award nominations with Tate McRae, both receiving six nominations.
Singer Sabrina Carpenter was confirmed as the first performer at this year’s Grammys event, with all best new artist nominees also set to perform on the night. Other names to perform on the night include Clipse and Pharrell Williams, who have also received three nominations each.
This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony takes will be broadcasted live on February 1, hosted by Trevor Noah for the final time.
Last Summer, Justin Bieber surprised fans with the release of his album, Swag, an album the singer described as  “some of his most personal music yet”, as he sheds light on experiences of being a husband and father, amid online speculation regarding his marriage to Hailey Baldwin. The last few years have been far from easy for the singer, having been previously diagnosed with Ramsy Hunt Syndrome, which saw him forced to cancel several shows. The health issue can lead to one of 60 causes of facial palsy or facial paralysis.
In 2022, Bieber took to social media to say that “each day has gotten better”, since his diagnosis.
“Wanted to share a bit of how I’ve been feelin”, he said. “Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me”.Â
“I’m reminded he knows all of me. He knows the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know about and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms”.
“This perspective has given me peace during this horrific storm that I’m facing”, he added. “I know this storm will pass but in the meantime I know Jesus is with me”.Â
