Biopharma and purification innovation is set to be the focus of a three-day bioprocessing symposium taking place later this year in Slovenia.

The MSS2026 event will showcase technologies for, and research into, advancing gene therapies, vaccines and biological products, offering practical insights into the latest advancements in biopharma.

Put together by Sartorius BIA Separations, it will feature renowned speakers from industry and academia and provide a unique blend of innovation, expertise, and networking opportunities.

MSS2026 will take place from 14 to 16 September in Bled, with online options available for those unable to travel to Slovenia.

Attendees at the symposium will have the choice of three streams of cutting-edge research to explore:

Nucleic acids and LNPs: Learn from experts in nanoparticle-based pharmaceuticals, scalable purification processes for plasmid DNA (pDNA) and RNA technologiesProteins: Discover advanced techniques in the purification and analysis of proteins, including antibodies and plasma proteinsViruses and viral vectors: Dive into cell and gene therapy, exploring efficient virus production, scalable manufacturing and purification methods.

Following the event Sartorius is also running a series of exclusive Wet Lab Workshops on 17 and 18 September at its Ajdovščina facility. These have limited availability and will combine both theory and practical experience.
