Brooklyn Beckham has become a ‘scapegoat’ amid a shock feud with David and Victoria Beckham after some people in the family made a shock move

Brooklyn Beckham became a “scapegoat” in the feud between him and his parents – David and Victoria Beckham. It has been claimed that the amateur chef has been an easy mark after his family made a shock move.
The feud between the family blew up when Brooklyn issued a six page statement, where he made a number of accusations about his family. He accused his parents of “controlling” him and even said his mother Victoria “danced inappropriately” on him at his wedding.
In the lengthy statement, Brooklyn said his parents had “constantly disrespected” his wife Nicola Peltz, with relations between the warring families clearly at breaking point.

Speaking in the new Beckham: Family at War – UNTOLD documentary, Josh Connolly, author and resilience coach, said: “Within any dysfunctional family system, the scapegoat child is the one often that’s willing to speak the truth. Rather than actually coming together to look at the dysfunction, it’s easier to point at one individual and make them the problem. The fact that his siblings seem to have blocked him based on what he said could be an indicator that he is being scapegoated within the family.”
He added that he is convinced something “catastrophic” has happened between the family for this to happen.
“I don’t think anybody goes no contact for no reason. I’ve never met anyone that has become estranged from their parents without something catastrophic happening somewhere,” he explained.
Tom Bower – author of 2024 book The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power – appeared on Good Morning Britain today, where he said: “He’s been used an manipulated I feel very sorry for him. That’s why I feel for Brooklyn, finally he’s exploded. He’s now living with a normal family, I think the Peltz’s are a good family, they are hard working. He’s a victim, a young man now of 26 who has been through the mill and in the end, he’s done nothing wrong, his parents have because they have used their children to build a brand.”
In the statement, Brooklyn said he had made plans to see his family, but was rejected. He shared: “My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one.
“My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable. Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him.”
He added: “He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner. When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.”
