SuperValu and Centra owner Musgrave said today that prices on the Kerrygold butter products will be reduced across its stores nationwide.
The cuts come into effect from today.
Musgrave said the reductions, worth up to 9% across the Kerrygold range, will deliver savings of up to 50 cent on Kerrygold products.
This will see a range of Kerrygold branded butter products reduce from €5.49 to €4.99 and from €3.29 to €2.99.
“We recognise that household budgets continue to be under pressure and are committed to passing on savings to customers. By working closely with our suppliers, we aim to deliver value where possible,” Musgrave said in a statement.
In December, SuperValu, Centra, ALDI Ireland and Lidl Ireland all announced a cut in the price of their own brand butter ranges.
