Alongside appearing on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, the presenter and podcaster (40) also won a celebrity version of Gladiators last month.
While admitting she would love to do Celebrity Traitors, having watched the BBC version, she won’t be taking on any new challenges shortly.
“I’m actually not going to do any of those shows for a while. But everyone would love to do Traitors, it’s such a great show,” she said.
On Newry mum Rachel Duffy winning the show with Stephen Libby, she said it was “lovely to see everyone have a little go of the game.”
“I loved the celebrity version and the Irish one is amazing. It’s such a great format. I’ve done a lot of those kind of shows so not in 2026.
“It’s nice when you do a show like that that’s fun, like Gladiators. But I was dead after that. That’s what I was like, ‘Jesus I am 40’ I couldn’t walk for a week afterwards. I was in bits.”
She hopes to turn her hand to more writing, having released her hit memoir Big Mouth last year as well as a children’s book.
“I have been working on a script so that’s something in that. It’s not a film script but more like a show script,” she said
“I think eventually I will start a non-fiction book but I need to take my time with that because it’s a really difficult thing to do and I don’t want to mess it up, this being my first one.
“But I really love writing. It’s the only thing that my mind is focused on one thing. My mind never stops. I have about ten things going on at the same time. So when I write, I feel my mind is only on that one thing.”
One show she has signed up for again is Channel 4’s Renovation Rescue. She has a degree in quantity surveying as well as construction design which she has never had to use.
“Neil my step-dad is thrilled. He’s like ‘So it wasn’t a waste!’ The show is about people who have been done over by their builders. While it’s regulated here, it’s not over in Britain. So they can come and do a job on your house and you give them loads of money and they haven’t done it properly. One family had to tear their whole house down. So we help them get back on schedule,” she said.
She was channelling her love of interiors this week after flying back to Dublin to unveil her new sofa collection with EZ Living.
One of them features a striped nautical theme, which she has called Howth after her beloved home town.
“I started out in college doing construction but didn’t love being on a freezing cold building site but I always loved everything to do with interiors,” she said.
