Few artists have experienced the creative and commercial success of Taylor Swift. After rising to fame in 2006 with her self-titled debut album, the pop star (who was then a country singer) earned her first Grammy nomination in 2008. Two years later, she took home four awards thanks to Fearless. Dozens more nominations (and wins) followed; then, in 2024, she added one more historic accolade to her long list of achievements when she won Album of the Year for Midnights, making her the first—and only—artist to win the award a total of four times.
“For me, the award is the work,” Swift said during her acceptance speech. “All I want to do is keep being able to do this. I love it so much. It makes me so happy. It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people happy who voted for this award too. All I want to do is keep doing this.”
