There have been a number of winners from the West in the Irish Takeaway Awards for 2026.
Danolla’s Diner and Takeaway in Casltebar has been named the Best Fish and Chips in Ireland for this year. The award is independently judged through anonymous mystery diner visits as opposed to a public vote, and is regarded as one of the most competitive categories in the awards.
Meanwhile, Olive’s Seoul Food in Claremorris earned double-honours, for Connacht World Food Takeaway of the Year and Connacht Vegetarian Takeaway of the Year.
