Part of the N25 to be closed during peak times to facilitate roadworks

Waterford City and County Council have announced a road works and traffic management operation N25 at Windgap (The Sweep), west of Dungarvan.

The notice has been put in place to facilitate the continuation of essential safety barrier repair works adjacent to the eastbound lane.

The notice is in effect from Monday, 09 February to Wednesday 11 Frebruary 2026, between 08:00 and 18:00.

Waterford City and County Council have advised road users to slow down and proceed with caution when in the area.
