Rufa Mae Quinto admitted that she is “still feeling depressed” about her husband Trevor Magallanes’ sudden passing in July.
On Instagram, the comedienne shared a video of herself holding a cup of coffee while dropping humorous punchlines.
“They say that every gising is a blessing. But for me, every gising is an eye opening experience. ‘Coz when you gising, you have to open your eyes first, ‘di ba?” Rufa Mae said.
She continued, “And here I am drinking coffee again coz after everything that happened, I’m still feeling depressed. So today, instead of my favorite espresso, i’m having depresso! And I’m drinking it de-mug coz it’s not decaf! With it, I’m also wearing my coffee shirt coz if I’m drinking tea, I will be wearing a t-shirt!”
Rufa Mae said she had plenty of realizations after everything that happened to her recently.
“And I’m planning to make a statement about it in my YouTube channel soon, so watch out for that,” she said.
Rufa Mae broke the news of Trevor’s passing on July 31, saying they were still gathering factual information. A week later, the San Francisco Police Department paid tribute to Trevor.
She has been grieving her husband on social media, posting touching photos of Trevor with their daughter, Athena, and promising him she will dutifully take care of her.
Rufa Mae clarified she and Trevor never filed for annulment. The couple, who has been married since 2016, had been going through a rough patch earlier in the year.
